Welcome! I am an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Economics at the University of Texas at Austin.
I'm passionate about teaching and mentoring students in my role as the Director of the Master's Program in Economics .
My research interests include empirical industrial organization and applied microeconomics, and my work has been published in the American Economic Review and the RAND Journal of Economics.
Originally from Texas, she received her B.A. in Economics and B.S. in Business Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics at Duke University before returning to her home state, where she and her husband now raise two kids and a rambunctious doggo.
